“We are thrilled to make more Michigan players a little richer! We’ve had an enthusiastic response from players and retailers, who enjoy the game and the Raffle format!” said Lottery Commissioner Gary Peters.
The 12 $100,000 prizes were sold in Clinton Township, Okemos, Marcellus, Sanford, Grand Rapids, Imlay City, Fair Haven, Essexville, Kalamazoo and Lansing. Two tickets were sold in Jackson.
In addition to the $1 million and $100,000 prizes; 900 numbers were drawn for prizes of $1,000 each.
The six $1 million wining numbers will be broadcast during tonight’s Lottery evening draw. A complete list of all winning numbers is now available on the Lottery’s Web site https://www.michiganlottery.com/ and at Lottery regional offices. Tickets can be validated at any Lottery terminal.
The second Millionaire Raffle game sold only 600,000 tickets at all Lottery terminals across Michigan beginning March 12, 2007. Each ticket sold contained a unique six-digit number from 000001 to 500000. The 918 Raffle tickets were randomly selected.
The Millionaire Raffle offered players the best chance ever to win $1,000,000 with just odds of just 1 in 100,000 to be a top prize winner.
All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan. In fiscal year 2006, the contribution was $688 million.
