LANSING, April 19, 2007 – A longtime player, and Lottery winner, claimed his largest prize to date with a $656,602 win!

The winner, who chose to remain anonymous, matched all five numbers in the February 21 Fantasy 5 drawing.

He enjoys playing several Lottery games including Fantasy 5, Daily 3 and 4, Keno and Instant tickets.  The winner said he won the Daily 3 game the first time he played in 1976. 

The winner said he plans to use the money to buy his daughter a house and set up trust funds for his grandchildren.  He also plans to travel by train to Las Vegas and California. 

The winning own pick ticket was purchased at Golfside Food and Gas, 4975 Washtenaw, in Ann Arbor.

Fantasy 5 drawings are conducted seven days a week.  Jackpots start at $100,000 and grow by approximately $5,000 daily.

All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan.  In fiscal year 2006, the contribution was $688 million.
