10X Kicker equals big money!

LANSING, April 12, 2007 – A very lucky Oxford man really cashed in when he matched all six numbers in a 6-Spot Club Keno game on April 7.  The prize for the match is usually $1,100, but the winner purchased the Kicker option and with a 10X multiplier, cashed in an $11,000 win!

T. Dennis also had two smaller wins to equal a total of $11,002!  He hid the easy pick ticket in his drawer and has no immediate plans for the prize money.  The longtime Lottery player enjoys golfing and fishing in his spare time.

The winning ticket was purchased at The Oxford Tap, 36 S. Washington, in Oxford.

Club Keno offers 37 different ways to play and win.  Players can wager $1, $2, $3, $4, $5, $10 or $20 per drawing and tickets can be purchased for up to 20 drawings at a time.  Players win Club Keno by matching some or all of the numbers they have selected to the numbers drawn.  The more numbers matched, the more the player wins.

All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan.  In fiscal year 2006, the contribution was $688 million.
