LANSING, April 5, 2007 – A very lucky Warren man matched all eight number in an 8-Spot game, plus an extra match to cash in a $10,002 Club Keno prize!
The winner said he was watching the Keno monitor when he saw his numbers come in. He hid the ticket in his shoe until claiming his prize at the Lottery office in Sterling Heights.
The lucky ticket was purchased at Crackerjack’s Bar and Grill, 34005 S. Gratiot Ave., in Clinton Twp.
The winner said he will use his prize money to purchase “boy tools” and enjoys playing softball in his spare time.
Club Keno offers 37 different ways to play and win. Players can wager $1, $2, $3, $4, $5, $10 or $20 per drawing and tickets can be purchased for up to 20 drawings at a time. Players win Club Keno by matching some or all of the numbers they have selected to the numbers drawn. The more numbers matched, the more the player wins
All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan. In fiscal year 2006, the contribution was $688 million.
