LANSING, April 5, 2007 – A very lucky Harrison Township man is $10,000 richer after he matched all eight numbers in an 8-Spot Club Keno game on March 30.
Jeff Papsdorf, who said he doesn’t play the Lottery very often, was “surprised” with his big win. He plans to use the prize money to pay bills.
The winning ticket was purchased at Johnny G’s, 27 N. Walnut, in Mt. Clemens.
Club Keno offers 37 different ways to play and win. Players can wager $1, $2, $3, $4, $5, $10 or $20 per drawing and tickets can be purchased for up to 20 drawings at a time. Players win Club Keno by matching some or all of the numbers they have selected to the numbers drawn. The more numbers matched, the more the player wins.
All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan. In fiscal year 2006, the contribution was $688 million.
