Surprised Lottery player wins $10,000

LANSING, March 28, 2007 – George Bennington of Plymouth is a very lucky Mega Millions player!  He matched four white ball numbers and the Mega ball in the March 16 drawing to win a $10,000 prize!

The 82-year-old man hid the easy pick ticket in his wallet before cashing it in at the Lottery’s Dearborn Heights office.  Bennington enjoys playing the Michigan Lottery and plans to pay bills with his winnings.

The lucky winning ticket was purchased at Kroger #670, 44525 Ann Arbor Rd., W, in Plymouth.
