LANSING, March 28, 2007 – A very lucky Lottery player is $20,000 richer, thanks to the Michigan Lottery’s Deal or No Deal Instant game!

The woman, who opted to remain anonymous, didn’t believe her good fortune when her daughter scratched off the winning ticket!  She told Lottery officials that she is grateful for her win.  The woman plans to pay her bills and give money to her “lucky” daughter and to her church.

In her free time, the winner enjoys watching game shows, traveling and listening to music.

The lucky winning ticket was purchased at Meijer #24, 6200 S. Pennsylvania Ave., in Lansing.

Deal or No Deal is just one of many Michigan Lottery Instant tickets available at nearly 11,000 Lottery retailers statewide.

All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan.  In fiscal year 2006, the contribution was $688 million.
