LANSING, March 27, 2007 – Renee Engle is a very lucky lady!  She matched four white balls, plus the Mega ball, in the March 13 Mega Millions drawing to win $10,000!

The winner, who purchased her ticket at Pony Express Sunoco, 26883 Telegraph, in Flat Rock, said she used birthdays to choose her own pick numbers.

Engle plans to use her prize money to make payments on her credit cards.  She has been playing the Lottery for 20 years and this is her largest win to date.

Mega Millions is a multi-state lottery game in Michigan, California, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Texas, Virginia and Washington.  Wagers cost $1 each and tickets may be purchased at nearly 11,000 Michigan Lottery retailers statewide.

All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan.  In fiscal year 2006, the contribution was $688 million.
