LANSING, March 27, 2007 – A very lucky Lowell woman claimed $10,006 after she won twice on a lucky Club Keno ticket.
Elsie Warner matched nine of 10 numbers, with a 2X Kicker and five of 10 with a 3X Kicker to total a whopping $10,006!
Warner said she was “excited and overwhelmed” with her win. She plans to continue playing Club Keno.
The winning ticket was purchased at Riverbend Bar and Grill, 8124 Fulton St. E, in Ada.
Club Keno offers 37 different ways to play and win. Players can wager $1, $2, $3, $4, $5, $10 or $20 per drawing and tickets can be purchased for up to 20 drawings at a time. Players win Club Keno by matching some or all of the numbers they have selected to the numbers drawn. The more numbers matched, the more the player wins.
All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan. In fiscal year 2006, the contribution was $688 million.
