LANSING, March 22, 2007 – When the Club Keno Kicker option landed on 10X, Raymond Zampich was hopeful that his numbers would hit. He was lucky – they did! The New Baltimore man matched all six numbers on the 6-spot game and kicked up his prize to a whopping $11,000!
The normal payout for matching six of six numbers is $1,100, but because Zampich selected the Kicker option, his prize was multiplied by 10!
Zampich was excited with his big win. He plans to use the prize money to pay bills and save for his daughter’s college fund. In his free time, he enjoys snowmobiling and boating.
The winning own pick ticket was purchased at Wooden Eagle, 2775 S. Lapeer Rd., in Lake Orion.
Club Keno offers 37 different ways to play and win. Players can wager $1, $2, $3, $4, $5, $10 or $20 per drawing and tickets can be purchased for up to 20 drawings at a time. Players win Club Keno by matching some or all of the numbers they have selected to the numbers drawn. The more numbers matched, the more the player wins.
All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan. In fiscal year 2006, the contribution was $688 million.
