LANSING, March 12, 2007 – A lucky 45-year-old woman matched eight of 10 numbers in the 10-spot Club Keno game to win a huge prize. 

The normal payout for matching eight numbers is $500, but a lucky Plainwell woman bet $20 a draw and increased her winnings to $10,000!

The lucky winning own pick ticket was purchased at Rhino’s Hometown Pub, 107 S. Main St., in Plainwell.

Club Keno offers 37 different ways to play and win.  Players can wager $1, $2, $3, $4, $5, $10 or $20 per drawing and tickets can be purchased for up to 20 drawings at a time.  Players win Club Keno by matching some or all of the numbers they have selected to the numbers drawn.  The more numbers matched, the more the player wins.

All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan.  In fiscal year 2006, the contribution was $688 million.
