LANSING, March 12, 2007 – The Lottery’s Wild Time Extra Instant ticket proved lucky for Mark Smith of Hart.  He won a whopping $30,000 prize!

After learning of his good fortune, Smith told his wife who thought he was playing a joke on her!  Lucky for her she believed him and they took the winning ticket to the Lottery’s Wyoming office to cash in.

The Smiths plan on buying their daughter a car and going to a Detroit Pistons game with their prize money.  They enjoy watching sports and participating in water sports in their free time.

The lucky winning ticket was purchased at Dave’s Party Store, 408 Wood St., in Hart.

Wild Time Extra is just one of many Michigan Lottery Instant tickets available at nearly 11,000 Lottery retailers statewide.

All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan.  In fiscal year 2006, the contribution was $688 million.
