Battle Creek woman wins $35,000

LANSING, March 12, 2007 – Gale Cosgrove’s Cashword Doubler Instant ticket proved to be very lucky!  The Battle Creek woman scratched her way to the top $35,000 prize!

The 43-year-old baker has played the Lottery for the last 10 years.  This is her second time she has won a $35,000 prize!

The lucky winning ticket was purchased at Admiral Discount Tobacco #66, 80 S. 20th St., in Battle Creek.

Cashword Doubler is just one of many Michigan Lottery Instant tickets available at nearly 11,000 Lottery retailers statewide.

All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan.  In fiscal year 2006, the contribution was $688 million.
