LANSING, February 27, 2007 – Mark Zucker of West Bloomfield claimed his half of the Feb. 7 Fantasy 5 jackpot of $67,000 in Lansing today!  Two players matched all five numbers in the drawing.

Zucker wasn’t aware of his win until he went to a local retailer to have a stack of tickets validated.  He was surprised to learn one of his tickets was worth a large sum of money.  He and his wife plan to use the money to pay bills and he’s going to treat himself to a big screen TV. 

The winner purchased the lucky easy pick ticket at 7-Eleven 12995, 4264 Orchard Lake Rd., in West Bloomfield.

Fantasy 5 drawings are conducted seven days a week.  Jackpots start at $100,000 and grow by approximately $5,000 daily.

All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan.  In fiscal year 2006, the contribution was $688 million.
