LANSING, February 27, 2007 – Geoffrey Bell of Flushing is a very lucky regular Mega Millions player.  He matched four white ball numbers and the gold Mega ball to win a $10,000 prize!

Bell was surprised with his Feb. 13 easy pick win.  He plans to pay bills and take a trip to Cancun, Mexico with his prize money.

The lucky ticket was purchased at Meijer #28, Gas Station, 4333 W. Pierson Rd., in Flint.

Mega Millions is a multi-state lottery game in Michigan, California, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Texas, Virginia and Washington.  Wagers cost $1 each and tickets may be purchased at nearly 11,000 Michigan Lottery retailers statewide.

All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan.  In fiscal year 2006, the contribution was $688 million.
