LANSING, February 27, 2007 – Two very lucky friends are $200,000 richer today!  They matched all 10 numbers in the 10-spot Club Keno game and bet $2 a draw to win the prize.

The members of the club were excited with their win and couldn’t believe they matched all 10 numbers!  Each member randomly picked five numbers and came up with a batch of 10.  They plan to save their money for retirement.

The lucky club purchased their winning own-pick ticket at Jake’s Place, 2670 US 131, in Boyne Falls.

Club Keno offers 37 different ways to play and win.  Players can wager $1, $2, $3, $4, $5, $10 or $20 per drawing and tickets can be purchased for up to 20 drawings at a time.  Players win Club Keno by matching some or all of the numbers they have selected to the numbers drawn.  The more numbers matched, the more the player wins.

All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan.  In fiscal year 2006, the contribution was $688 million.
