LANSING, February 14, 2007 – A very lucky Highland man got a huge surprise when he scratched a winning Set for Life Instant ticket! 

The winner, who chose to remain anonymous, will received $1,000 a week for the rest of his life! He hid the ticket in a safe box and plans to use the prize money to pay bills, save and invest, and take a vacation.

The winning ticket was purchased at Spring Valley Party Store, 2823 E. Highland Rd., in Highland. The lucky winner said he usually plays Mega Millions, Classic Lotto 47 and Instant tickets and he is very glad he purchased the Set for Life ticket.

Set for Life is just one of many Michigan Lottery Instant tickets available at nearly 11,000 Lottery retailers statewide.

All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan. In fiscal year 2006, the contribution was $688 million.
