LANSING, February 2, 2007 – The Bingo Times 10 Instant Lottery ticket proved lucky for one Detroit woman.  Sheila Smith cashed in a $20,000 winning ticket at the Lottery’s Sterling Heights office.

Smith was very excited about her big win.  She plans to help her daughter, buy a new car and pay bills with her prize money.  She enjoys playing all types of Bingo in her free time.

The lucky ticket was purchased at Special Way Food Store, 11001 E. 7 Mile Rd., in Detroit.

Bingo Times 10 is just one of many Michigan Lottery Instant tickets available at nearly 11,000 Lottery retailers statewide.

All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan.  In fiscal year 2006, the contribution was $688 million.
