LANSING, February 1, 2007 – A very happy woman claimed $250,892 after she matched all five numbers in the November 9, 2006 Fantasy 5 drawing. 

The lucky winner, who chose to remain anonymous, said she plays the Lottery everyday and selected her own-pick numbers using and “odd, even, odd, even” pattern.  The fifth number was her son’s birthday. 

She has no immediate plans for her prize money.

The ticket was purchased at Plainfield Amaco FS #6, 3895 Plainfield Ave. NE, in Grand Rapids.

Fantasy 5 drawings are conducted seven days a week.  Jackpots start at $100,000 and grow by approximately $5,000 daily.

All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan.  In fiscal year 2006, the contribution was $688 million.
