LANSING, January 18, 2007 – A very lucky Goodrich man has $300,000 more dollars in his pocket after a big win on the Super Red Hot Cashword Instant ticket.

The lucky winner, who chose to remain anonymous, said he’s been playing the Lottery for 20 years.  He was in shock and could barely drive home after realizing that his ticket was a big winner.

He plans to use the prize money to pay bills.  The winning ticket was purchased at Evie LLC, 3989 S. Lapeer Rd., in Metamora.

Super Red Hot Cashword is just one of many Michigan Lottery Instant tickets available at more than 11,000 Lottery retailers statewide.

All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan.  In fiscal year 2006, the contribution was $688 million.
