Portage man wins big

LANSING, January 18, 2007 – A longtime Lottery player cashed in when he matched all five white balls, without matching the Mega ball, in the Jan. 5 Mega Millions drawing.

The win gave T. Hill a $250,000 prize!  The winning easy pick ticket was at Sprinkle Road Citgo #3, 7025 Sprinkle Rd., in Portage.

Mega Millions is a multi-state lottery game in Michigan, California, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Texas, Virginia and Washington.  Wagers cost $1 each and tickets may be purchased at nearly 11,000 Michigan Lottery retailers statewide.
