LANSING, January 18, 2007 – The $300,000 top prize in the Super Red Hot Cashword game has been claimed! 

A very lucky Port Huron family walked away with the big prize after they scratched the lucky ticket.

The winners, who chose to remain anonymous, said they checked the ticket over and over before they could believe it was a big winner.

The lucky ticket was purchased at Beverage Barrel Liquor, 1433 Military St., in Port Huron.  The winners plan to invest their prize money.

Super Red Hot Cashword is just one of many Michigan Lottery Instant tickets available at more than 11,000 Lottery retailers statewide.

All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan.  In fiscal year 2006, the contribution was $688 million.
