LANSING, January 12, 2007 – Mark Townsend of Warren is a very lucky man.  His Some Like it Hot Instant ticket made him $30,000 richer!

This is the second time the 53-year-old regular Lottery player has won a $30,000 prize.  Townsend has no immediate plans for his prize money. 

He purchased his winning ticket at Mainstreet Deli, 243 E. 14 Mile Rd., in Clawson.

Some Like it Hot is just one of many Michigan Lottery Instant tickets available at more than 11,000 Lottery retailers statewide.

All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan.  In fiscal year 2006, the contribution was $688 million.
