LANSING, January 12, 2007 – The second half of the Dec. 27, 2006 Fantasy 5 jackpot has been claimed.  A very lucky woman cashed in her easy pick ticket worth $52,500.

The winner, who opted to remain anonymous, purchased the lucky ticket at Rocky’s Party Shop, 59380 Van Dyke Rd., in Washington.

Fantasy 5 drawings are conducted seven days a week.  Jackpots start at $100,000 and grow by approximately $5,000 daily.

All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan.  In fiscal year 2006, the contribution was $688 million.
