Woman wins $50,000 Club Keno prize

LANSING, December 21, 2006 – Pamela Ready from Canton won a $50,000 prize by matching nine out of 10 numbers in the 10-spot Club Keno game.

The normal payout for this match is $5,000, but the lucky woman bet $5 a draw, increasing her prize to $25,000.  That’s not all – she kicked up her winnings by two because she selected the Kicker option.

The lucky winning easy pick ticket was purchased at Rusty Nail Lounge, 43845 Ford Rd., in Canton.

Club Keno offers 37 different ways to play and win.  Players can wager $1, $2, $3, $4, $5, $10 or $20 per drawing and tickets can be purchased for up to 20 drawings at a time.  Players win Club Keno by matching some or all of the numbers they have selected to the numbers drawn.  The more numbers matched, the more the player wins.

All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan.  In fiscal year 2006, the contribution was $688 million.
