LANSING, December 21, 2006 – The new Pink Panther ticket proved lucky for one man.  He instantly scratched his way to the top $20,000 prize!

The man, who opted to remain anonymous, plans on paying bills with his prize money.

The lucky ticket was purchased at Mendon Deli Mart, Inc., 633 W. Main St., in Mendon.

Pink Panther is just one of many Michigan Lottery Instant tickets available at nearly 11,000 Lottery retailers statewide.

All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan.  In fiscal year 2006, the contribution was $688 million.
