LANSING, December 6, 2006 – David Anson is a very lucky man! He matched all five white balls, without matching the Mega ball in the November 10 Mega Millions drawing.
The Canton man walked away with a whopping $250,000!
Anson, who has been playing the Lottery since it began, said he “couldn’t believe it” when he realized his ticket was a big winner.
He kept the ticket on the refrigerator and plans to use the money to pay bills.
The lucky easy-pick ticket was purchased at Levan Wine & Deli Shoppe, 36217 Plymouth, in Livonia.
Mega Millions is a multi-state lottery game in Michigan, California, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Texas, Virginia and Washington. Wagers cost $1 each and tickets may be purchased at nearly 11,000 Michigan Lottery retailers statewide.
