LANSING, November 27, 2006 – Robert Powers is a very lucky man! He matched all five numbers in a 5-Spot Club Keno game, which usually pays $410, but he wagered $10 on the draw and hit a 4X Kicker to multiply his prize to $16,400!
The Commerce man said upon realizing his good fortune he “tipped the waitress and bought a round for the the bar.”
The lucky player plans to spend the rest of his prize money on Christmas decorations and a gift for his wife.
The lucky ticket was purchased at The Copper Mug, 1704 W. Maple Rd., in Walled Lake.
Club Keno offers 37 different ways to play and win. Players can wager $1, $2, $3, $4, $5, $10 or $20 per drawing and tickets can be purchased for up to 20 drawings at a time. Players win Club Keno by matching some or all of the numbers they have selected to the numbers drawn. The more numbers matched, the more the player wins.
