LANSING, November 15, 2006 – Thanks to the Michigan Lottery’s $40,000,000 Spectacular Instant game, a lucky Shelby Twp. player is $10,000 richer.

The 45-year-old regular Lottery player plans to pay bills with her prize money.  She enjoys reading and playing the Lottery in her free time.

The winning ticket was purchased at I-94 & 23 Mile Rd. Sunoco, 27925 23 Mile Rd., in New Baltimore.

$40,000,000 Spectacular is just one of many Michigan Lottery Instant tickets available at nearly 11,000 Lottery retailers statewide.

All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan.  In fiscal year 2006, the contribution was $686.3 million.
