LANSING, November 3, 2006 – A very lucky woman claimed $105,000 after matching all five numbers in the November 1 Fantasy 5 drawing.

The winner, who chose to remain anonymous, said she saw the numbers come up on the television and was so surprised that she had matched all five, she had to check her results again on the Lottery’s Web site.

She selected her own-pick numbers by using birthdays and other “lucky” numbers.  She and her husband plan to use the money through their retirement.

The lucky winning ticket was purchased at Meijer #72, 9701 Belleville Rd., in Belleville.

Fantasy 5 drawings are conducted seven days a week.  Jackpots start at $100,000 and grow by approximately $5,000 daily.

All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan.  In fiscal year 2006, the contribution was $686.3 million.
