LANSING, November 2, 2006 – Five lucky finalists who will participate in a drawing for $2 million will be selected by the Michigan Lottery on Friday, Nov. 17.

The finalists will be chosen from those players who win $1,000 on one of the Lottery’s $20 Instant tickets: “$2,000,000 Mega Play”, “$2,000,000 Cash Casino”, “Wild Millions”, “Mega Bucks Jackpot”, “2,000,000 Cash Winfall”, and “Millionaire’s Club”.  Claims of $1,000 prizes made before the close of business on Wednesday, Nov. 15 will qualify for the drawing.  In order to claim a $1,000 prize, winners must redeem their ticket at a Lottery regional office or licensed bank claim center.

Finalists will be notified by phone that day and also by mail.

Players who redeem $1,000 prizes after that date will be eligible for the next $2 million drawing, which will be conducted in the spring of 2007.

The grand prize drawing will be conducted at The Palace of Auburn Hills, during halftime of the Detroit Pistons vs. New York Knicks NBA game on Friday, Dec. 1.
