LANSING, October 30, 2006 – Mary McCarty of Byron Center is a very lucky lady! She matched all nine numbers in a 9-Spot Club Keno game to win $25,000!
McCarty, who goes by the nickname “Jake”, said she was in shock when her numbers came up on the Keno monitor. She used her “favorite” numbers and plans to spend her prize money on a new car.
The lucky ticket was purchased at the Byron Center Hotel, 2619 84th St., in Byron Center.
Club Keno offers 37 different ways to play and win. Players can wager $1, $2, $3, $4, $5, $10 or $20 per drawing and tickets can be purchased for up to 20 drawings at a time. Players win Club Keno by matching some or all of the numbers they have selected to the numbers drawn. The more numbers matched, the more the player wins.
