LANSING, October 25, 2006 – A very lucky anonymous Lottery player is $35,000 richer, thanks to the Michigan Lottery’s Cashword Instant game.

The winner placed the ticket in a “safe place” before cashing it in at Lottery Central in Lansing.  She plans to save the prize money.

The lucky ticket was purchased at Middletown Market, Inc., 5580 E. Grand River Ave., in Howell.

Cashword is just one of many Michigan Lottery Instant tickets available at more than 11,000 Lottery retailers statewide.

All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan.  In fiscal year 2005, the contribution was $667.6 million.
