LANSING, September 13, 2006 – A winning Fantasy 5 ticket that was sold on Sept. 5 was claimed this morning. 

The winner, who opted to remain anonymous, picked up his $198,260 win at the Lottery’s central office in Lansing.

The lucky easy pick ticket was purchased at Admiral Petroleum Co., 805 N. State St., in Big Rapids.

Fantasy 5 drawings are conducted seven days a week.  Jackpots start at $100,000 and grow by approximately $5,000 daily.

All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan.  In fiscal year 2005, the contribution was $667.6 million.
