LANSING, September 11, 2006 – A very lucky Jackson man is $200,000 richer after he scratched a winning $200,000 Cash Instant ticket.
The lucky winner, who chose to remain anonymous, said he “couldn’t believe it” when he won. He claimed his prize at the Lottery office in Lansing.
The lucky player has buying tickets since the Lottery began and has no immediate plans for the prize money.
The ticket was purchased at Wesco #12, 4101 Lansing Ave., in Jackson.
$200,000 Cash is just one of many Michigan Lottery Instant tickets available at more than 10,000 Lottery retailers statewide.
All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan. In fiscal year 2005, the contribution was $667.6 million.
