LANSING, August 25, 2006 – A very lucky longtime Lottery player is $110,000 richer after he matched all five numbers in the August 17 Fantasy 5 drawing.

The winner, who chose to remain anonymous, said he plans to buy something special for each of his daughters.  It was his daughter who first told him of his good fortune!

The lucky winning easy pick ticket was purchased at Eight Mile Foodland, 18880 W. Eight Mile Rd., in Southfield.

Fantasy 5 drawings are conducted seven days a week. Jackpots start at $100,000 and grow by approximately $5,000 daily.

All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan.  In fiscal year 2005, the contribution was $667.6 million.
