LANSING, August 17, 2006 – A very lucky 73-year-old Fulton woman was flabbergasted with her $35,000 win. The winner scratched her way to the big win on a Cashword ticket.
The regular Lottery player enjoys spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The ticket was purchased at Party Store Southwest, 1950 W. Columbia Ave. #1, in Battle Creek.
Cashword is just one of many Michigan Lottery Instant tickets available at more than 10,000 Lottery retailers statewide.
All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan. In fiscal year 2005, the contribution was $667.6 million.
