LANSING, August 9, 2006 – A lucky Burton family who formed a Lottery club – The Webb Lottery Club – is $100,011 richer today!  The club matched all five numbers in the August 2 Fantasy 5 drawing.

The club has been playing together since the middle of July of this year.  This is its largest win to date.  However, the club leader, “mom” of the family, won $200,000 in 1975.  The lucky numbers in that win were composed of her grandchildren’s birthdays.

Family members plan to use the prize money to vacation in England, where additional family members reside.

The lucky winning own pick ticket was purchased at Smokers Palace, 6007 E. Lapeer Rd., in Burton.

Fantasy 5 drawings are conducted seven days a week.  Jackpots start at $100,000 and grow by approximately $5,000 daily.

All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan.  In fiscal year 2005, the contribution was $667.6 million.
