Wild Time Gold prize claimed

LANSING, August 4, 2006 – A very lucky 62-year-old Clinton Twp. man won the top prize in the Lottery’s Wild Time Gold Instant game.  Paul Van Hee scratched his way to the $30,000 prize.

The regular Lottery player who has played “forever” was astounded by his big win.  He didn’t have a chance to hide the winning ticket because he went directly to a Lottery office to claim his prize.  He plans to pay bills and take a trip to Las Vegas with his winnings.

The lucky ticket was purchased at 7-Eleven 26309, 38950 Garfield Rd., in Clinton Twp.

Wild Time Gold is just one of many Michigan Lottery Instant tickets available at more than 10,000 Lottery retailers statewide.

All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan.  In fiscal year 2005, the contribution was $667.6 million.
