LANSING, August 4, 2006 – An anonymous Manistique man is $105,003 richer, thanks to the Michigan Lottery’s Fantasy 5 game.

The regular Lottery player learned of his good fortune on the nightly news.  He was so excited that he woke his wife up to tell.  The winner plans to pay bills and save the rest of his prize money.  In his free time, he enjoys yard work and being “handy” around the house.

The lucky winning easy pick ticket was purchased at Zephyr, 100 Chippewa Ave., in Manistique.

Fantasy 5 drawings are conducted seven days a week.  Jackpots start at $100,000 and grow by approximately $5,000 daily.

All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan.  In fiscal year 2005, the contribution was $667.6 million.
