LANSING, August 4, 2006 – The VIP 1 Lottery Club claimed a huge prize today.  The club scratched its way to the top $200,000 prize on the Lottery’s Instant Action Instant game.

The two club members from Howell, didn’t believe they had actually won the money until they had the ticket validated at a Lottery retailer.  They plan to use their money to travel to Las Vegas and New Mexico in the near future.  They both enjoy playing sports and bingo in their free time.

The lucky ticket was purchased at Reem’s Mini Mart, Inc., 4545 W. Grand River, in Howell.

Instant Action is just one of many Michigan Lottery Instant tickets available at more than 10,000 Lottery retailers statewide.

All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan.  In fiscal year 2005, the contribution was $667.6 million.
