LANSING, July 25, 2006 – Kourtney Pinto is a very lucky lady!  She won $10,000 playing Club Keno!

Pinto, who is a 27-year-old dental office manager, said she used birthdates to select her “own-pick” numbers.

She hid the ticket in her purse and plans to use the money to pay bills.  In her spare time she enjoys skiing and soccer.

The winning ticket was purchased at Mugg Shots Music Bar, 213 E. Huron Rd., in AuGres.

Club Keno offers 37 different ways to play and win.  Players can wager $1, $2, $3, $4, $5, $10 or $20 per drawing and tickets can be purchased for up to 20 drawings at a time.  Players win Club Keno by matching some or all of the numbers they have selected to the numbers drawn.  The more numbers matched, the more the player wins.

All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan.  In fiscal year 2005, the contribution was $667.6 million.
