LANSING, July 18, 2006 – A very lucky Sterling Heights man scratched his way to a $10,000 prize in the Super Red Hot Cashword Instant game.

The winner, who opted to remain anonymous, has played the Lottery for the last three years.  He plans to use his prize money to remodel his house.

The lucky winning ticket was purchased at Tunnel Liquor Shoppe, 333 E. Jefferson Ave., in Detroit. 

Super Red Hot Cashword is just one of many Michigan Lottery Instant tickets available at more than 10,000 Lottery retailers statewide.

All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan.  In fiscal year 2005, the contribution was $667.6 million.
