Center Line man claims $10,000

LANSING, July 18, 2006 – A lucky regular Lottery player matched four white balls and the gold Mega ball to win a $10,000 prize.  The Mega Millions winner was happy and surprised with his win.

Ibrahim Savas has been playing the Lottery for the last 25 years and this is his largest win to date.  The easy pick ticket was put in his wallet for safe keeping until he was able to redeem it at the Lottery’s Sterling Heights office.

The winning ticket was purchased at Lucky R Market Inc., 8324 E. 10 Mile Rd., in Center Line.

Mega Millions is a multi-state lottery game in Michigan, California, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Texas, Virginia and Washington.  Wagers cost $1 each and tickets may be purchased at more than 10,000 Michigan Lottery retailers statewide.
