LANSING, July 6, 2006 – A Grosse Pointe Woods man was dumfounded by his $10,000 Mega Millions win. M. Kmetz matched four white balls and the Mega ball to win the prize.
The easy pick ticket was hid in a safe before being cashed in at the Lottery’s Sterling Heights office. He plans to use part of the prize money for his daughter’s graduation party. In his free time he enjoys working and fishing.
The lucky ticket was purchased at Cy’s Food Center I, 24001 Groesbeck Hwy., in Warren.
