Triple Double Cash 2 pays off

LANSING, June 6, 2006 – A very lucky man from Lansing is $25,000 richer, thanks to the Lottery’s Triple Double Cash 2 Instant game!

The lucky retiree, who is not a regular Lottery player, was in shock after scratching the winning ticket.  He hid it in his lucky ticket in his wallet before cashing it in at Lottery Central in Lansing.  The winner plans to put his prize money in his savings account.

The lucky ticket was purchased at Sunset Food Market, 618 E. Kalamazoo St., in Lansing.

Triple Double Cash 2 is just one of many Michigan Lottery Instant tickets available at more than 10,000 Lottery retailers statewide.

All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan.  In fiscal year 2005, the contribution was $667.6 million.
