LANSING, June 6, 2006 – A lucky winner from Grand Rapids won a $30,000 top prize in the Lottery’s U Win Bingo Instant game.

The long time Lottery player was surprised by her win.  She enjoys reading and decorating her home in her free time.

The lucky ticket was purchased at Meijer #12, 3757 Plainfield Ave., NW, in Grand Rapids.

U Win Bingo is just one of many Michigan Lottery Instant tickets available at more than 10,000 Lottery retailers statewide.

All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan.  In fiscal year 2005, the contribution was $667.6 million.
