LANSING, May 22 , 2006 – Ruth Winter is a very lucky lady!  She won $10,000 playing Club Keno on May 18!

Winter, who has been playing the Lottery for about three years said plans to use the money to buy property.  She enjoys hunting and bowling in free time.

The lucky easy pick ticket was purchased at the bar where Winter works, the Roadside Inn, 2241 S. Huron Rd., in Pinconning. 

Club Keno offers 37 different ways to play and win.  Players can wager $1, $2, $3, $4, $5, $10 or $20 per drawing and tickets can be purchased for up to 20 drawings at a time.  Players win Club Keno by matching some or all of the numbers they have selected to the numbers drawn.  The more numbers matched, the more the player wins.

All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan.  In fiscal year 2005, the contribution was $667.6 million.
