LANSING, May 5, 2006 – A very lucky winner claimed a $105,000 prize after his ticket matched all five numbers in the April 30 Fantasy 5 drawing.

The lucky winner, who chose to remain anonymous, said he was “amazed” when he saw all five of his numbers had matched the numbers drawn.

He plans to use the prize money for repairs on his house and put the rest in the bank.

The lucky winning easy pick ticket was purchased at VG’s Food Center, 40832 Ryan Rd., in Sterling Heights.

Fantasy 5 is the Michigan Lottery’s game which replaced Michigan Roll Down.  Drawings for the game are held seven days a week.  Jackpots start at $100,000 and grow by approximately $5,000 daily.

All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan.  In fiscal year 2005, the contribution was $667.6 million.
