LANSING, May 4, 2006 – A very lucky Club Keno player from Portage won $10,002 when all eight of her numbers came up in an 8-Spot game!

The lucky player, who chose to remain anonymous, had a two dollar win on her ticket as well.  The winner, who has no immediate plans for her money, said she hid her ticket in her purse before cashing the ticket.

She purchased the winning ticket at RJ’s Sports Bar, 8118 Portage, in Portage.

Club Keno offers 37 different ways to play and win.  Players can wager $1, $2, $3, $4, $5, $10 or $20 per drawing and tickets can be purchased for up to 20 drawings at a time.  Players win Club Keno by matching some or all of the numbers they have selected to the numbers drawn.  The more numbers matched, the more the player wins.

All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan.  In fiscal year 2005, the contribution was $667.6 million.
